While with Pitney Bowes, Tom was charged with turning around a volatile customer service situation for Wal-Mart. Tom created a program that both improved the customer accounts payable process and provided a positive plan of action for their technical support programs. This resulted not only in increased customer satisfaction, but a $30-million order from Wal-Mart for additional new processing systems.

Also while with Pitney Bowes, Tom developed a custom logistics solution for Sperry Speedline which automated shipping, invoicing and data processing into their back-end main frame and network server systems. He worked with the circuit board manufacturing company's California-based software development team to integrate their proprietary system and provide custom solutions for their customers.
